There are two deluxe master bedrooms with king size beds and down comforters. One of the bathrooms has a dual-head shower with beautiful genuine rock walls! Walk up the stairs to the loft that has a double bed, a twin bed and a set of bunks.

While you enjoy the rustic charm of this home, you will appreciate the modern conveniences like wireless high speed Internet and a state of the art kitchen. The living room has a welcoming wood-burning stone fireplace. Just out the doors you will find the upper deck with plenty of seating for dining outdoors.

Down the stairs, the entertainment really begins. The family room in this log cabin has a regulation size pool table, TV, foosball table, gas stone fireplace (yes, it has 2 fireplaces!) and wet bar. This room also has a daybed that makes up into two twin beds. There is a full bath on this floor. The large hot tub is located outside the family room on the lower deck as is the charcoal grill. The elevation is about 4000 feet at the cabin and Mother Nature keeps the temperatures cool all summer.

This North Carolina mountain cabin rental is about 8 1/2 miles from the ski slopes on Sugar Mountain and 12 miles to Ski Beech. The location is less than 10 miles to Grandfather Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, and Sugar Mountain Golf Course. The new YMCA is also nearby. The home's location on Hickory Nut Gap Road is on the NC Scenic Bicycle Route. This location is great for those in training or just enjoying road or mountain biking. Many other attractions and activities are nearby such as a public swimming pool less than 2 miles away in Newland. Tennis is available nearby on Hickory Nut Gap Road as are a cushioned track and pool available for public use at Lees McCrae College.
